What You'll Bring:
  • Current New York State Nursing Registration
  • BLS Certification (ability to recertify)
  • Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience in an acute care hospital setting of comparable size or trauma center
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to perform patient care with minimal supervision
  • Experience with electronic medical records, preferably EPIC
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of medical coding, insurance review, triage, and ambulatory/primary care procedures
  • Certifications such as ACLS, NNLS, EFM, PALS, TNCC, ENPC are beneficial

Nice to Have:
  • Telemetry experience
  • Travel and reimbursements experience
  • Additional certifications or advanced training in ophthalmology or ambulatory care

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
  • Proven success in outpatient or ambulatory ophthalmology settings
  • Familiarity with healthcare technology and hospital systems

Other Requirements:
  • Valid licensure and certification verification
  • Ability to pass pre-employment health screening, drug testing, and criminal background check
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Willingness to work days, 8-hour shifts starting from 05/29/2026
