What You’ll Do
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code, and Standards of Practice
  • Assess patient needs, implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes in behavioral health settings
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, delegating and managing resources appropriately
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Engage in patient teaching and discharge planning tailored to diverse populations
  • Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed
  • Support unit and organizational goals with a focus on quality and safety

What You Need
  • Required:
    • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
    • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
    • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in behavioral health or related field
  • Preferred:
    • Certification in clinical specialty area
    • CPI certification (Crisis Prevention Institute)
    • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
