RN - Behavioral Health

RN – Behavioral Health (Contract) – California (94590)

• Location: California, 94590

• Pay Rate: $2,108 – $2,365 (weekly)

• Schedule: 5x8s, Evening Shift

  • Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

  • Days: Variable schedule; typically every other weekend required

Position Requirements:

• Active RN license (California) required

• BLS (AHA or ARC) required

• CPI certification preferred (can be obtained onsite)

• Minimum 1 year of psychiatric/behavioral health experience required

• BSN preferred

• Acute care experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver coordinated nursing care using the nursing process

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams

• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff as appropriate

• Support discharge planning and continuity of care

• Provide patient and family education

• Maintain a safe, therapeutic care environment

Additional Expectations:

• Participate in weekend rotations

• Comply with facility vaccination requirements

• Perform additional duties as assigned
