Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: McAllen, TX 78503
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN to join a dynamic cardiovascular team. The RN will provide high-quality patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including electrophysiology (EP), angioplasty, and device implantation. This role also involves supporting staff education and ensuring safe, efficient patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Monitor patients during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Support procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, and pacemaker implantation
• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care and education
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Assist in educating and supporting Cath Lab staff as needed

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited RN program (BSN preferred)
• Active TX RN License
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS – Required
• Minimum 1 year experience in EP lab (diagnostic & therapeutic) – Required
• Knowledge of Micropace (preferred)
• Recent acute care experience required
• Must live 100+ miles away
