Job Summary and Qualifications

As a highly compassion Cardiac Rehab Nurse you will provide individualized care plans for the patients. You will demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. You will be part of a team that pulls together to provide a quality patient care experience. We are seeking passionate individuals who are ready to take their career to the next level! 

In this role:

  • You are responsible for the assessment, development and implementation of the patients individualized treatment plan.
  • You will demonstrates clinical and teaching skills and a commitment to improving the quality of patient care.
  • You will utilize an interdisciplinary process to provide comprehensive education which includes assessing the ability to learn, special learning needs and continually evaluating the effectiveness of teaching and producing the desired patient outcomes.
  • You will document assessment, care plan, interventions and education objectivity and timely use of the computer technology required by the department.
  • You will demonstrate knowledge of the occurrence reporting system and uses the system to report potential safety issues.
  • You will work in both our outpatient clinic and inpatient working with our ICU and step down population on ambulation, hemodynamic monitoring and education.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Utah or Registered Nurse compact license from participating compact states.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification within 6 months of hire.
  • One or more years experience in Cardiovascular experience strongly preferred
  • 2 or more years higher acuity nursing experience (EKG, ACLS, general bedside) required
