Position Summary
The Cardiology RN works with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care across the Cardiology Clinic, EP/Afib Clinic, and Testing Center. Responsibilities include assessing patients, identifying care needs, communicating complex clinical findings to cardiologists/electrophysiologists, and implementing treatment plans as directed.

Education
BSN preferred
Experience
Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular clinic or hospital nursing experience
Critical care or cardiac inpatient experience preferred
Telemetry monitoring experience preferred
Licensure & Certifications
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Key Responsibilities
Provide pre- and post-procedure education for cardiology and electrophysiology (EP) patients.
Educate patients on cardiovascular conditions, treatment options, self-monitoring, and disease prevention.
Triage cardiac symptoms and arrhythmias, consulting cardiologists/EP physicians as needed.
Support the Testing Center and Cardiac PET/CT Imaging procedures when required.
Assist with Transition of Care by reviewing discharge instructions, medications, updating electronic health records, and coordinating follow-up care.
Assist nursing leadership in maintaining clinical standards, policies, and patient care protocols.
Maintain professional development through continuing education.
Ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
Perform other duties as assigned

Dayshift 9am to 5:30pm
