Job Summary:
Tryfacta is seeking a RN - Cardiology Clinic for our client in State College, PA 16801 . This is a 13-week contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please Apply Now!

Position Title: RN - Cardiology Clinic
Location: State College, PA 16801
Duration: 13 weeks (Possible extension)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday ( 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide professional nursing care following established clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform patient assessments, obtain vital signs, and document clinical findings.
  • Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations, diagnostic testing, and treatments.
  • Administer medications, injections, and treatments as ordered.
  • Educate patients and families regarding cardiac conditions, medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
  • Coordinate patient care, referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow-up appointments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech electronic medical records.
  • Respond calmly and effectively during emergency situations.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Active Pennsylvania RN License (or eligible to obtain upon acceptance)
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience preferred.
  • Previous clinic, outpatient, cardiology, medical-surgical, or hospital experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of nursing procedures, medications, patient education, and medical terminology.
  • Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
