What You'll Do
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the cardiovascular operating room
- Assist surgeons during complex cardiovascular procedures
- Adapt communication and care to meet patients developmental and emotional needs
- Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons and anesthesiologists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain sterile environment and observe strict safety standards
- Document patient care and surgical procedures accurately
- Ensure compliance with all legal, hospital, and regulatory standards
What You Need
- Current RN license in the state of Louisiana
- Minimum 5 years of Operating Room experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association
- RNFA Certification strongly preferred
- Strong computer and data entry skills, excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and travel between facilities
