Job Title: RN – Cardiovascular Operating Room
Location: Utica, New York – 13502
Duration: 13-Week Contract
Start Date: 03/16/2026 – 06/13/2026
Schedule:
· 10-hour shifts (9.5 working hours + 30-minute unpaid lunch)
· Variable days: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
· On-Call: Minimum 7 days per 4-week schedule
- Includes 5 weeknights
- Minimum 1 weekend (based on staffing needs)
Unit Details:
· Patient Population: Adult
· Number of Beds: 2
· Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:1
· Common Diagnoses: CAD, AS, MR
· EMR System: EPIC
· Medication System: Omnicell
· Floating: Required if census is low
Requirements:
· Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular OR RN experience
· Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate degree required)
· Active New York State RN License
· BLS (AHA) Certification
· ACLS (AHA) Certification
Travel Requirement:
· 75-mile radius rule applies
· Local candidates accepted at local pay rate (within 75 miles)
