RN Case Manager – Torrance, CA

Pay: $57/hr – $65/hr ($2,280–$2,600/week)
Location: Torrance, CA
Contract: 13 weeks
Start Date: 09/14/2026
Shift: Day | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | 5x8-Hour

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for a 13-week contract at an acute care hospital in Torrance, CA.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute care case management/discharge planning experience
• Active California RN license required
• Epic experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers may be considered with screening
• Experience with care coordination and discharge planning
• InterQual experience highly preferred
• Experience with admission reviews and medical necessity
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medi-Cal guidelines
• Experience coordinating DME, SNF placement, and ambulance transportation
• Ability to participate in family meetings and treatment planning
• Must be available every other weekend and holidays
  

Additional Details

• Patient ratio: 1:20
• Case load: Up to 25 patients
• No floating required
• 40 hours of orientation
• Business attire or scrubs
• RTO: No more than 7 days
• Weekend rotation required; may be responsible for up to 2 units on weekends with a focus on discharge planning
