Required Skills:
- Current New York State RN registration
- Valid BLS certification, with ability to recertify
- Minimum of 1.5 years recent acute care nursing experience within the past 2 years
- Experience in hospital settings comparable in size or trauma level; travelers must meet these criteria
- Familiarity with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and clinical decision-making abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- No history of license or certification suspension or investigation
- No involvement as a defendant in professional liability claims
- Legal right to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass pre-employment health clearance
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in utilization review or clinical documentation improvement
- Additional certifications such as CCM or CDMS
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance and documentation standards
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
- At least 2 years of nursing experience in hospital or trauma center settings
Other Requirements:
- Availability for day shifts
- Willingness to pass drug screening and criminal background checks
- Ability to travel if required; reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and related expenses provided
