Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the Cath Lab. This full-time position offers a day shift schedule of 5x8 hours, from 06:00 AM to 03:30 PM. Candidates should hold a current California Registered Nurse license and possess certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Cath Lab or related specialty.
Certifications:
BLS
ACLS
License: Active California RN license required.
Patient Ratio Experience: Experience with appropriate patient ratios is expected.
Skills and Responsibilities
Proficient in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab.
Experience in Interventional Cardiac Cath lab and Interventional Radiology.
Ability to provide patient care with professionalism and compassion.
Charting system experience: Paragon (training provided).
Additional Information
Floating Requirements: Position may require floating in rotation with staff based on current clinical policies.
Orientation: Candidates will receive orientation appropriate to floating units, as required.
Training Courses: Candidates must complete the Assaultive Behavior and Fire Card courses within 30 days of start date, at their own expense. Course fees are $50 for the Fire Card and $80 for the Assaultive Behavior course.
