Key Responsibilities

• Assessment Skills: Deliver patient care across all stages of growth and development, from Pediatric to Geriatric, with thorough and accurate assessments.
• Clinical Skills: Demonstrate competent clinical skills in direct patient care and emergency procedures.
• Documentation: Maintain complete and accurate documentation, ensuring patient progress and education are well-documented.
• Professionalism: Uphold professional practice responsibility and identify areas for clinical and professional growth.
• Patient Satisfaction: Foster a patient-centered environment with courteous and positive interactions, maintaining confidentiality as per HIPPA guidelines.
• Safety: Follow National Patient Safety Goals, employing safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics.
• Unit Specific: Tailor patient care to specific procedures and anesthesia, assessing patient reactions and understanding.
• Responsibility and Accountability: Prioritize patient care based on needs and condition changes.
• Patient Education: Engage patients and families in pre-operative and postoperative education.
• Duties Specific to PAT RN: Ensure timely completion of patient testing and evaluate Pre Admission Testing orders.

Qualifications

• 2 years critical care experience - required
• RN License - Required
• BLS - Required
• ACLS - Required

7a - 8p, on call as needed. Note: Position is for an Interventional RN.
