What Youll Do:
As an RN in the Cath Lab, you'll play a vital role in delivering advanced cardiac care, supporting minimally invasive procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, balloon angioplasties, and stent placements. Your expertise will help ensure patient safety, comfort, and successful outcomes. Join us starting December 22, 2025, and become part of a team that values your skills and dedication.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU, CCU, ER, Cath Lab, or EP Lab experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Positive attitude aligned with WellStars "Standards of Gold" and "Values"
- Certification in BLS and ACLS or ARC-ALS (must be willing to obtain if not already certified)
- Current RN licensure in a single state or multi-state compact license
- Experience working with hospital-provided scrubs and following strict safety protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior Epic EMR experience
- Previous experience with cardiac procedures or interventional radiology
- Flexibility to work on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in high-pressure situations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing (required)
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Two years of Cath Lab or Cardiac/EP lab experience is highly desirable
Other Requirements:
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:45 am 4:15 pm
- On-call responsibilities: 15 shifts per 4-week cycle, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work during winter and summer holidays per hospital policy
- Must be comfortable with on-call duties, which may include emergency response outside regular hours
