Job Overview
The RN Charge Nurse / LPN Clinic Lead serves as a key clinical leader responsible for coordinating patient care, supporting daily operations, and fostering a positive team environment. Working closely with providers, nursing staff, and leadership, this role helps ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining efficient workflows, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient experiences. As a trusted resource and mentor, the RN Charge Nurse / LPN Clinic Lead provides guidance to clinical staff, supports patient flow, assists with care coordination, and promotes a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.
In addition to clinical leadership responsibilities, this role plays an essential part in day-to-day operations by assisting with staff assignments, scheduling support, workflow management, inventory oversight, and provider communication. The RN Charge Nurse / LPN Clinic Lead helps identify operational needs, resolve issues in real time, and support staff development through coaching, training, and mentorship. What You'll Do
Clinical Leadership & Patient Care Excellence
Lead and support the delivery of exceptional, patient-centered care.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Promote evidence-based practices that improve quality, safety, and patient experience.
Support patient assessments, triage, admissions, discharges, and recovery processes.
Ensure accurate documentation, medication administration, and regulatory compliance.
Operational Leadership & Workflow Management
Serve as a key leader in daily clinic operations and workflow coordination.
Monitor and improve patient flow, clinic efficiency, and throughput.
Assist with staff assignments, scheduling support, and daily operational needs.
Partner closely with providers and leadership to ensure seamless communication and problem resolution.
Provide front-line support by helping redirect team members and resources as patient volumes and priorities change.
Ensure supplies, equipment, and clinical resources are readily available to support uninterrupted patient care.
Team Development & Staff Engagement
Supervise, mentor, and coach clinical staff to support growth and performance.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment.
Assist with interviewing, onboarding, training, and orientation of new team members.
Address employee concerns, support conflict resolution, and encourage professional development.
Lead by example while promoting the organization's mission, vision, and values.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Champion patient safety, infection prevention, and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
Participate in audits, risk management activities, and performance improvement efforts.
Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and service excellence.
