RN Charge Nurse - Baylor - Full -Time

The Staff Pad has partnered with a respected healthcare organization in Russellville; AL and we are seeking a dependable and experienced RN Charge Nurse to provide leadership during assigned shifts, ensure effective team coordination, support staffing needs, implement hospital policies, and serve as a key resource for staff.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

This role collaborates with leadership ((Directors, Nurse Mangers, Unit Managers) and internal departments to resolve operational issues and ensure high -quality patient care<\/span><\/span>

Responsibilities<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Conduct triage assessments to prioritize patient needs effectively<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Administer tube feeding and manage patients' nutritional needs as required<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Provide urgent care services and respond to emergency situations promptly<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive case management plans<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management strategies<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Facilitate patient care by resolving interdepartmental issues<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

  Requirements<\/span><\/span>
  <\/p>

  • Current Alabama RN license; BSN preferred<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Must complete Hospital -based ACLS and PALS within one year of employment<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Proven experience in a charge nurse or leadership role within a healthcare setting<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Strong knowledge of triage protocols and urgent care procedures<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Experience with case management and outpatient services is advantageous<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>
