The Staff Pad has partnered with a respected healthcare organization in Russellville; AL and we are seeking a dependable and experienced RN Charge Nurse to provide leadership during assigned shifts, ensure effective team coordination, support staffing needs, implement hospital policies, and serve as a key resource for staff.

This role collaborates with leadership ((Directors, Nurse Mangers, Unit Managers) and internal departments to resolve operational issues and ensure high-quality patient care

Schedule: Full-Time 

Responsibilities

  • Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities
  • Conduct triage assessments to prioritize patient needs effectively
  • Administer tube feeding and manage patients' nutritional needs as required
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients
  • Provide urgent care services and respond to emergency situations promptly
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive case management plans
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management strategies
  • Facilitate patient care by resolving interdepartmental issues

Requirements

  • Current Alabama RN license; BSN preferred
  • Must complete Hospital-based ACLS and PALS within one year of employment
  • Proven experience in a charge nurse or leadership role within a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of triage protocols and urgent care procedures
  • Experience with case management and outpatient services is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff
