RN - Charge Nurse - Cardiac Admissions and Recovery

BayCare is looking for its newest Cardiac Admissions and Recovery, Charge RN in Winter Haven, FL. The Cardiac Admissions and Recovery Charge Nurse is proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills. Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team. Responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization. Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members. Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse. Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.

Licensure & Certification:

• RN license is required
• BLS and ACLS is required

Education:

• Required BSN or BS Healthcare related field or an RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion. Certification must be RN Professional, nationally recognized and applicable to the current primary area of practice on the approved BayCare Clinical Registered Nurse Certifications Grid

Experience:

• Required experience is 2 years as a licensed RN
