Position Summary

As an RN Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality resident care while leading and supporting nursing staff on your assigned shift. This position is responsible for providing direct nursing care, ensuring compliance with clinical standards, and supervising nursing team members to promote a safe, positive, and resident-centered environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
  • Supervise and support Licensed Nurses, CNAs, and other nursing staff.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
  • Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes appropriately.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve positive resident outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of compassion, dignity, and excellence in resident care.

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
  • Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience as an RN Charge Nurse.
  • Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or veteran care experience.
