Job Description

Overview:

Be part of something brand new! UF Health Emergency & Urgent Care – Wildwood is opening in December 2026 in Oxford, conveniently located between Wildwood and The Villages. This new 14,410-square-foot, 24/7 facility will bring high-quality emergency and urgent care services to the growing Wildwood, Oxford, and greater Villages community. Join our team and have the opportunity to help build the culture, shape the patient experience, and make an impact from day one at this exciting new UF Health location.

 

Under the direction of the director, utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience

Licensure, Certification & Registration

  • Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification

Special Skills, Qualifications & Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
