RN Charge

WKB has 12 LDRP rooms, 10 Postpartum rooms, 2 C-section operating rooms, and a Level 1 Nursery. We are seeking an experienced RN with 35 years preferred, with leadershipabilities to promote a teamwork environment, goodorganizational skills and excellent communication skills. a { text-decoration: none; color: 464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: f5f5f5; } The Nursery Charge Nurse is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily operations of the Newborn Nursery while providing direct patient care to newborns and their families. The Charge Nurse serves as a clinical leader, resource, and mentor for nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, family-centered care. This role is responsible for staffing coordination, patient assignments, patient flow, clinical decision-making, and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members to promote positive patient outcomes. The Nursery Charge Nurse is expected to maintain clinical competency in newborn care and provide support to Labor Delivery, Mother-Baby, and other Womens Services units as needed. The Charge Nurse promotes compliance with regulatory standards, quality initiatives, and departmental goals while fostering a collaborative and professional work environment. ACLS, NRP, and STABLE are required but will be provided by the organizationif needed.
