Description
Nature of Duties: Provide patient care in support of cardiovascular physicians, performing various Registered Nurse duties. Must have cardiology knowledge or a willingness to learn and expand expertise in cardiovascular care.
Specific Duties:
Triage patients, document vital signs, and communicate with physicians.
Assist with exams, orders, injections, and patient education.
Maintain accurate electronic records and handle phone calls.
Perform blood work, assist with Coumadin clinics, and pacemaker duties.
Assist with insurance pre-certifications, supply ordering, and clinic checks.
Help staff other clinics and perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Current IL RN license
1-2 years cardiology experience preferred or willingness to learn
BLS certification
Complete EKG and cardiology courses within 12 months
Strong communication skills and cardiology knowledge
Compensation: Pay starting at $34.37.
