Description

This is a benefited, full time position with 8-hour weekday shifts starting between 8 and 8:30am, and occasional weekend coverage as needed. The role is hybrid, with a combination of on-site work at the 4S Ranch clinic and remote work.

Initial training will be conducted on-site for 2-8 weeks with the duration dependent on training progress. After training, the schedule will consist of one week on-site followed by four weeks remote.

What you''ll do:

• Primarily indirect patient care (phones, messages) but may provide direct patient care when working on site.
• Assist patients, staff, and physicians as needed to maintain a high level of efficiency of operations and customer service while providing quality care to the designated patient population.
• Assist with the leadership of the clinical and clerical staff.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care within the scope of practice.
• Phone triage and triaging patients who present to the clinic
• Assist with phone calls and portal messages
• Documentation in EMR (electronic medical record)
• Perform nursing tasks within scope of practice.
• Support Family/Internal Medicine and work a hybrid of onsite and remote to assist the team as needed.
• Practice autonomously consistent with ANA Standards of Practice and Professional Performance and be able to delegate tasks appropriately.
• Independent judgment is expected to be exercised within the context of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches to patient care.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

• ADN or Nursing Diploma
• Highly organized and detail-oriented

Required Certification/Registration:

• CA RN License

• BLS through the American Heart Association

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

• 2+ years of pediatric RN experience
• RN experience in adult, OB/GYN and/or pediatric settings
• Telephone triage experience
• Clinic or outpatient experience
• Prior remote work experience
• Proficiency with Epic EHR
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
