RN Clinical Data Abstractor - Quality Outcomes

PeaceHealth is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Data Abstractor - Quality Outcomes to join our Quality Outcomes team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to leverage your clinical expertise to drive quality improvement initiatives, support regulatory compliance, and improve patient care across a multi-state health system.
Must reside in Washington, Oregon, or Alaska.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $46.27 - $69.41 per hour. If telecommuting, PeaceHealth will provide the necessary computer equipment. Caregivers are responsible for maintaining reliable internet access.
About the Role
As an RN Clinical Data Abstractor, you will play a critical role in advancing quality and patient safety initiatives by reviewing and analyzing complex clinical records, abstracting data for registries, and identifying trends that support performance improvement efforts across PeaceHealth.
This position is ideal for a clinically experienced RN who enjoys working with data, identifying opportunities for improvement, collaborating with providers and leaders, and making a system-wide impact on healthcare quality and outcomes.

Required Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Minimum three years of:
Acute care hospital clinical experience, or
Care management and/or hospital insurance case management experience
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Advanced knowledge of:
Medical terminology
Anatomy and physiology
Disease processes
Pharmaceuticals
Diagnostic testing
Proficiency with:
Microsoft Office Suite
Databases and spreadsheets
Data analysis and reporting tools
Experience collaborating effectively with physicians and clinical teams
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
Experience in:
Quality improvement
Quality measurement
Clinical registries
Data abstraction
Performance improvement initiatives
Data analytics and reporting
Clinical experience in infection prevention, surgery, inpatient care, emergency services, or advanced practice nursing
