Job Description:

Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders to advance professional development.

  • Serve as a resource for clinical inquiry, guiding the identification of potential projects and providing subject matter expertise.

  • Champion a spirit of inquiry by supporting research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement initiatives using preferred methodologies (e.g., PDSA.

  • Drive collaborative problem-solving and support the implementation of meaningful change.

  • Foster a supportive environment for nursing research, scientific inquiry, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.

  • Disseminate evidence-based findings through education programs, courses, and other developmental activities.

  • Model professional standards to inspire alignment with the organizations mission, vision, and values.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Effective professional communicator with strong interpersonal skills. [Required]

Knowledge of the American Nurses Association (ANA/Association of Nursing Professional Development (ANPD scope and standards for Nursing Professional Development. [Required]

Working knowledge of word processing, data management, email, and presentation applications. [Preferred]

Self-directed, creative, and demonstrates initiative to support the seven roles of the NPD practitioner: learning facilitator, change agent, mentor, leader, champion for inquiry, advocate for the NPD specialty, and partner for practice transitions. [Preferred]

Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards (e.g., CMS, OSHA for professional specialty served. [Preferred]

Education:

Associate's of Nursing [Required]

Work Experience:

2+ Relevant Work Experience [Required]

0+ Leadership experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

Registered Nurse (RN [Required]

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS [Required]
