• Perform a variety of duties with efficiency and composure
• Accept responsibility for direction, control, and planning of educational activities
• Evaluate programs and participant learning; make appropriate changes
• Recognize patient confidentiality and handle information appropriately

• Communicate effectively and convey empathy and compassion
• Support hospital mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures
• Participate in required education for DNV programs
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Education:Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (experience and national certifications may be considered with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years). Master's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications:
• Current Oregon RN license required
• Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR required
• CNOR certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Minimum of 5 years hospital Nursing experience
• Minimum of 3 years OR experience required
• Teaching/educator experience strongly preferred – including direct teaching and evaluating learning process
• Experience with simulation manikins and software preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Excellent communication, customer service, and telephone etiquette
• Typing speed minimum 45 WPM accurately
• Ability to write educational objectives for healthcare employees
• Knowledge of electronic health record system (EPIC preferred)
• Holiday coverage required
