CommuniCare Health Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as RN CNA Instructor for Worthington Healthcare Center. This position will conduct CNA training classes at multiple facilities in the area.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess a current license as a RN in the state where the center is located.

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience

• 1 year of LTC experience 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As RN CNA Instructor, you will:

• Coordinate/conduct Nurse Aide training classes and testing and maintain all required documentation.

• Develop materials, manuals, and teaching aides and maintain resource library

• Coordinate State-mandated training hours for all CNA’s

• Participate in QI meetings to ensure staff training in identified areas of weakness.

• Develop, implement, and maintain an effective orientation program.

• Conduct/coordinate skills testing.
