Summary:

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is actively seeking a Registered Nurse Coordinator for Lamar Diversion Center located in Purvis, MS. The purpose of the coordinator is to coordinate and provide limited services throughout the Pine Belt area. The coordinator must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care needed as required by PBMHR standards.

For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt. Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities. Our eighteen county service area includes Amite, Franklin, Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall, Wayne Counties.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Nursing Required, Masters preferred.
• Mississippi Licensure
• Four (4) years behavioral healthcare or related nursing experience required
• (2) years supervisory experience
• Must possess valid MS drivers license with satisfactory driving record.
• Successfully pass a security sensitive background screening

Responsibilities:

• Ability to apply communication and knowledge of SMI & SED Diagnosis
• Ability to collect information from consumer and family member to determine medical needs
• Ability to document the therapeutic process
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10 pounds
