RN-Critical Care ICU (FT, Nights) Monterey Park Hospital

Overview:

Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our ICU Unit. This is a full time, 12-hour night shift position reporting to the Director of Critical Care Services.

Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse provides care, treatment, counseling, and health education to hospitalized patients. The RN is responsible for planning and coordinating care from admission through post-discharge. This planning and coordination includes meeting and exceeding compliance with core measures, contributing to reduction in LOS, active participation with all aspects of quality, safety, and performance improvement activities, and collaboration with all the members of the multidisciplinary team in providing outstanding customer service to patients, family members, physicians, and the public. Meets and exceeds the Department of Health Services (DHS), The Joint Commission (TJC), and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

1. BSN - preferred
2. Current CA RN license required.
3. BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required. 
4. CCRN - preferred
