Job Title: RN - CSICU
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 3 months Contract
Schedule: NIGHT 7:00pm-7:30am, EOW + 4
th shift
Hourly rate: $58/ hour on W2 Negotiable
- License: NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Certifications: BLS
- Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Required Specialty Experience: 2 years of Post-Open Heart & Cardiac Care Unit experience
- EHR: EPIC experience
- Unit: 26 beds
- Staffing Ratio: 1 RN : 2–3 patients
- Average Unit Census: 17
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care
- Assess patients, prioritize care, and apply critical thinking
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge needs
- Perform medication management, purposeful rounding, and bedside shift report
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow quality, safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement, nursing research, and evidence-based practice
- Support patient throughput and effective resource utilization
- Perform charge nurse duties as assigned
- Participate in professional development and unit initiatives
