Required Skills & Experience:
2-3 years of staff CVICU experience.
Competencies with immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring the ICU.
High acuity patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
Competencies include efficient with vents, A-lines, spinal drains, hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation and monitoring, temporary pacemakers, vasoactive and inotropic drip titrations.
Skills & Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 2 years recent CVICU experience Required
Trauma Experience: Experience in a Level I Trauma Center
License: Active New York RN License
Certifications:
BLS (AHA) Required
ACLS Required
CCRN Preferred
Education: Associate s or Bachelor s in Nursing Required
