RN – CVICU

RN – CVICU (Contract)

Location: California 95240 | Pay: $2,473–$2,770/week
Shift: 3rd 12 Night (Auto Offer) | Hours: 36 or 48/week

Job Summary:

• Deliver coordinated, high-quality nursing care to CVICU patients.

• Supervise and direct nursing staff and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.

• Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) – preferred

• Acute care experience – preferred

Licenses & Certifications:

• Active RN license in California – required

• BLS/CPR certification – required

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

• Monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes in condition.

• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team.

• Provide patient and family education.

• Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care.

• Delegate and coordinate tasks among healthcare team members.

• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR.
