Job Title: RN - ED
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 3 months Contract
Schedule: 7:00P - 7:30A EOW + 4
th shift once in month
Hourly rate: $67/ hour on W2 Negotiable
ER Clinical Nurse — Key Requirements- Role: Emergency Room (ER) Clinical Nurse / Registered Nurse
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED/ER) experience
- Adult and/or pediatric experience accepted
- Trauma experience preferred
- Education: BSN required
- Licensure: Active NYS RN License
- Certifications:
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- TNCC, ENPC, and CEN preferred
- EMR: EPIC experience
- Core Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, evidence-based, patient-centered emergency care
- Perform patient assessments and apply critical thinking
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans
- Prioritize and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced ED
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans
- Perform medication administration and accurate clinical documentation
- Support patient throughput and safe transitions of care
- Participate in quality improvement, safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Charge nurse duties as assigned
- Manage supplies, equipment, and other resources efficiently
- Escalate staffing, safety, and resource concerns appropriately
- Maintain professional, compassionate communication with patients, families, and staff
- Participate in ongoing professional development and shared decision-making
