Description
RN - Emergency Department (ED)
Pay:$50/hr
Shift:12-Hour Nights
Duties
- Provide independent nursing care and perform delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor changes in health status.
- Provide patient education and health counseling.
- Administer treatments and therapies to stabilize and support patients.
- Execute delegated medical functions and coordinate patient care.
- Refer patients for additional evaluation or treatment when necessary.
- Review and monitor treatment plans and patient progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Utilize available resources to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Support the organization's mission, vision, values, and service standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Float to other departments within Product of competency based on operational needs.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required.
Requirements
Experience
- Previous Registered Nurse experience preferred.
- Must be able to perform all essential nursing duties in an Emergency Department setting.
License
- Active RN License (State-specific or Compact, as applicable).

- Strong emergency assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
- Proficient in documentation and multidisciplinary collaboration.
