RN Educator (Exempt)

Overview

Responsibilities

Designs and conducts educational programs to meet organizational, audience and/or regulatory demands and to support achievement of Infirmary Health's (IH) standards of quality, efficiency, and desired outcomes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

BSN degree

Working knowledge of adult learning principles, educational methodology and instructional design

Exceptional presentation and communications skills

Licensure, Registration, Certification:

BLS

One of the following:

• Current Alabama RN license
• Current Multi State RN License in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama*
• Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama

Desired Qualifications:

MSN with previous teaching experience

Licensure, Registration, Certification:

Certified Diabetes Educator credential desired in the Diabetes Center/DERC

Certified Dialysis Nurse credential through Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC)
