Job Description Summary
The role of the Emergency Care Unit (ECU) overflow nurse is to provide inpatient medical, surgical, telemetry, and stepdown level of care to patients admitted to the hospital from the Emergency Department (ED)
The Overflow Nurse will care for the admitted patients in the dynamic, fast-paced, high-patient turnover environment
The overflow nurse will advance the inpatient plan of care in coordination with the admitting team, case management and ED Charge Nurse
Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current RN license in the state
One year of nurse experience required.
Emergency Department experience Preferred.
