Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients quickly in emergency situations • Deliver urgent life-saving care and administer medications • Assist with critical procedures and monitor patient status • Collaborate with doctors and the healthcare team for best outcomes • Support patients and families with compassion under pressure

Qualifications

Education Graduate of an accredited nursing program must obtain BSN within 12 years of hire

Certification License: Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support BLS certification or within 3 months from date of hire Must possess and maintain current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support ACLS certification or within 1 year from date of hire Must possess and maintain current Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS certification within 1 year of hire date Trauma Nursing Core Course TNCC certification within 1 year of hire date
