Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Travel Contract
Location: Michigan
Duration: 13 weeks, with option to extend
Schedule: 4 nights, 4 mids; no block schedule; no on-call
Interview Process: Phone interview; manager will call directly
Payrate: $60/hour
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Travel RN roles in Michigan commonly require flexibility across night and mid shifts, strong communication, and the ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced hospital settings.
Provide direct nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Delegate and supervise care tasks to appropriate staff members.
Accurately document patient care, assessments, and interventions.
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and health management.
Communicate pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team.
Formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department.
Apply clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to support safe, effective patient care.
Participate in resolving variances from patient goals and implementing solutions.
