Job Title: RN - Emergency Dept

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and emergency conditions. Performs rapid assessments, prioritizes care based on patient acuity, administers treatments, and collaborates with the emergency care team to stabilize patients.

Education & Experience:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.

• 1–2 years of Emergency Department or acute care nursing experience preferred.

• Experience with emergency assessment, trauma, and critical patient care is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

• BLS certification required.

• ACLS certification required.

• PALS certification required or preferred based on patient population.

• TNCC certification preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rapid assessment and triage of patients based on acuity and clinical needs.

• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, respiratory status, and changes in patient condition.

• Administer medications, IV therapy, treatments, and emergency interventions safely.

• Respond promptly to trauma, cardiac emergencies, and other critical situations.

• Collaborate with physicians and the emergency healthcare team to coordinate patient care.

• Provide patient and family education, emotional support, and discharge instructions.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow emergency care, infection control, and patient safety standards.
