RN - Emergency

RN – Emergency Department (Contract)

Location: New York 14456
Pay Rate: $1,987 – $2,230
Schedule: Variable Day/Night Shifts, 3x12s (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Additional: Every other weekend, holidays, and 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care, triage patients, and prioritize based on acuity (ESI standards)

• Perform assessments, interventions, and reassessments for emergent and non-emergent conditions

• Administer treatments and assist with invasive/non-invasive procedures

• Educate patients/families and coordinate discharge and follow-up care

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Requirements

• Active New York RN License: Required

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke (AHA or RQI) required

• Minimum 2 years acute care RN experience

• Minimum 1 year Emergency Department RN experience

• Strong triage, critical thinking, and communication skills

Additional Information

• Must be comfortable working rotating day/night shifts

• High-acuity, fast-paced emergency department environment
