Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) – Make a Meaningful Difference Every Day

At St. Mary’s, our Behavioral Health team is dedicated to caring for the whole person — mind, body, and spirit. We’re looking for compassionate, non-judgmental Registered Nurses who have a passion for advocacy and supporting individuals on their journey to mental wellness.

As a Psychiatric RN, you’ll play an essential role in helping patients access the care and resources they need. You’ll provide direct and indirect nursing care, build trusting relationships with patients and families, and work collaboratively with an experienced team of in-house physicians, therapists, and behavioral health professionals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• 2-Year Associates degree required
• Valid State of Maine RN license
• BLS Certification required
• CPI training is preferred but will be offered upon hire
• 1-3 years previous nursing experience preferred
• At least 1-year of previous experience in mental health nursing preferred
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required
• Excellent team player
• Ability to manage stress appropriately and make decisions under pressure
• Flexibility is required to provide coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

Comp Range:

$31.84 - $43.85
