We're hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a short-term Emergency Room contract assignment at a healthcare facility in Clinton, Iowa.
This 21-day onsite assignment offers the opportunity to provide high-acuity emergency nursing care within a fast-paced Emergency Department environment during overnight shifts.

What You'll Do
Patient Care & Clinical Assessment
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
- Assess patient conditions and provide emergency nursing care
- Respond rapidly to emergent and acute patient situations
- Monitor and communicate patient condition changes appropriately
- Deliver compassionate care to patients and families during crisis situations
Care Coordination
- Coordinate interdisciplinary patient care across emergency department teams
- Collaborate with:
- Physicians

- Facilitate seamless communication across care teams
- Support coordinated emergency patient management
Clinical Execution
- Carry out physician and nursing orders
- Administer medications and treatments
- Perform emergency procedures and interventions
- Monitor patient response to treatment
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Discharge Planning & Patient Education
- Coordinate discharge planning needs
- Provide patient and family discharge education
- Ensure appropriate follow-up care arrangements
- Communicate discharge requirements with healthcare teams
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Traveler or contract nursing experience preferred
- Strong emergency nursing and critical care background
Licensure & Certifications
- Current Iowa RN License required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- PALS certification preferred
- TNCC certification preferred

- Strong emergency nursing and patient assessment skills
