Job Summary

Adventist Health and Rideout is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality emergency care for patients of all ages in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ER RN will assess, prioritize, and treat patients with a wide range of medical, surgical, and traumatic conditions while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, timely, and effective patient care.

Requirements

• Current Epic EMR experience required

• Recent Emergency Department experience in an acute care hospital

• Experience caring for high-acuity and trauma patients

• Strong emergency assessment, critical thinking, and multitasking skills

• Ability to work variable 12-hour shifts

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Required Credentials

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – AHA

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required per facility guidelines

• BSN preferred
