Job Summary

Adventist Health Twin Cities is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient treatment for patients with a wide range of medical and traumatic emergencies. Current Epic EMR experience is required.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience

• Recent Emergency Department experience preferred

• Experience managing critical and emergent patients

• Strong assessment, triage, and emergency response skills

• Current Epic EMR experience required

• Cerner experience required

Required Credentials

• Active California RN License

• BLS Certification

• ACLS Certification

• PALS Certification

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• EMR Systems: Epic (assignment requirement) and Cerner (facility requirement)

• Comprehensive emergency, orthopedic, obstetric, medical, surgical, and outpatient services

Clinical Skills

Candidates should have experience with:

• Emergency triage and rapid patient assessment

• Cardiac and respiratory emergencies

• Code Blue response

• Medication administration

• Trauma and critical patient stabilization

• Patient education and discharge planning

• Emergency documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration
