Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Schedule: 3×12.5 Hours | Approximately 36–37.5 Hours/Week

Traveler Candidates: Accepted

Pay Rate: $57–$62/hr

Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every Other Weekend | Rotating Holidays

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room travel nursing experience

• Current Massachusetts RN License

• BLS certification required

• ACLS certification required

• Successful completion of Pharmacology exam

• Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia exam

• Strong English communication skills

• IV administration and IV start experience

• Ventilator care experience required

• Telemetry monitoring experience required

• Ability to provide safe, age-appropriate patient care

Preferred Qualifications:

• TNCC certification

• ENPC certification

• PALS certification

• Approved de-escalation certification

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care using the nursing process

• Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social needs

• Develop and implement individualized plans of care

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses

• Perform IV administration and IV starts

• Provide ventilator care and telemetry monitoring

• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation

• Communicate patient information with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

• Direct and guide patient care activities performed by ancillary staff

• Use computerized nursing information systems effectively

• Serve as charge nurse and support staff orientation and education when required

• Participate in quality improvement and patient care activities

• Attend required meetings, education, and professional development programs

• Follow hospital safety, infection-control, and regulatory policies

• Maintain current nursing knowledge and competencies

• Protect patient and hospital confidentiality

• Provide professional and compassionate customer service

• Perform other nursing duties as assigned
