RN - Employee Health

Pay Rate: $50 per hour - $56 per hour

Summary:

• Varied shifts: 6:00-2:30; 7-3:30, 8-4:30, 8:30-5:00 Monday – Friday
• Weekends may be required; must be flexible

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care by incorporating the tenets of Relationship Centered Care and applying nursing processes based on theory, research, and evidence-based practice
• Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking in patient care management
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care
• Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care, transition of care, health promotion, and disease prevention
• Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, family, and all members of the Interdisciplinary Patient Care Team
• Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing
• Role model the tenets of Relationship Centered Care through various patient care actions
• Practice safe and efficient patient-centered care, identifying and escalating barriers and opportunities for improvement
• Implement process improvement strategies based on institutional, evidence-based procedures
• Facilitate patient throughput on shift basis

Requirements:

• NYS RN License
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years RN experience

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in vaccine administration
• EMR experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal manager oversight
