Pay Range: $51.43 - $77.15 per hour

About the Role

As a Caregiver Health RN, you will serve as a clinical expert in occupational health, employee wellness, infectious disease prevention, and workplace safety. You'll partner with leaders across the organization to support caregiver wellbeing, reduce workplace risks, and ensure regulatory compliance while making a direct impact on the health and safety of PeaceHealth caregivers.

This position plays a vital role in:

  • Occupational health services
  • Infectious disease prevention and exposure management
  • Immunization and screening programs
  • Return-to-work and work restriction guidance
  • Workplace safety initiatives
  • Regulatory compliance and employee health record management

What You'll Do

  • Provide clinical oversight and coordination for Caregiver Health services.

  • Conduct pre-employment health screenings, immunization reviews, and TB testing.

  • Manage caregiver illness and injury reports and recommend follow-up care.

  • Serve as the clinical lead for infectious disease exposure investigations and case management.

  • Coordinate post-exposure evaluation, treatment, and follow-up.

  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, DNV, CDC, and state health requirements.

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain confidential employee health records.

  • Provide cross-coverage support for Infection Prevention activities, including:

  • Exposure investigations

  • Outbreak response

  • Isolation precaution reviews

  • Safety rounding

  • Infection control risk assessments

  • Participate in an on-call rotation.

  • Collaborate closely with Human Resources, Safety, Infection Prevention, and organizational leadership.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

  • Current Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain.

  • Minimum of three years of current nursing practice experience, preferably in:

  • Occupational Health

  • Employee Health

  • Ambulatory/Clinic Nursing

  • Related practice settings

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.

  • Alaska State Fingerprinting requirement upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN)

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong clinical judgment and investigative skills
