What You’ll Do:
  • Provide specialized endoscopy nursing care in a fast-paced environment
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans using the nursing process
  • Assist with procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care instructions
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and delegate tasks appropriately
  • Manage patient data, documentation, and reporting accurately
  • Embrace quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

What You Need:
  • Current RN license in Louisiana
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
  • 2+ years of recent experience in endoscopy or related specialty
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt care to diverse patient populations

About the Assignment:
This assignment involves providing nursing care within a busy endoscopy unit. The RN will be responsible for pre- and post-procedure patient management, assisting physicians during interventions, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
