Job Title: Registered Nurse – Endoscopy / GI Lab
Location: Denver, CO 80218
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Local Pay: $60/hr. on W2
Travel Pay: $2382/Weekly (Blended)
Shift: 07:00–16:30, (4days*9hrs.)


Job Summary
The Registered Nurse will provide safe, patient-centered nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic and invasive procedures, with or without sedation. The RN will perform assessments, develop individualized care plans, support patients and families, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes.

Job Duties

• Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after endoscopic/invasive procedures and document changes from baseline.
• Develop, implement, and communicate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provide patient and family education, reassurance, comfort, and appropriate health information.
• Maintain aseptic technique and monitor the surgical/procedural team for compliance with infection-control standards.
• Demonstrate strong critical-thinking skills and use evidence-based practices to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Assist with GI equipment, supplies, inventory management, accurate charging, quality improvement, and floating within the Perioperative department as needed.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (Colorado or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent GI/Endoscopy experience required, including experience performing the tech portion of GI procedures/equipment is required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required
