Certifications /License:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Required Certifications & Licensure: CA RN License. BLS. ACLS.
- REQUIRED: Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program.
- PREFERRED: Bachelors of Science (BS) in Nursing.
Mandatory Experience:
- Shift: Variable shifts with Epic experience.
- Required Skills & Experience: -
- 3 years acute medical surgical nursing.
- At least 1 year of utilization review, case management, or discharge planning experience in an acute care hospital required unless posting specifies as a training position.
- Epic Experience Required: Minimum of 6 - 12 months within the past year.
- REQUIRED:
- Endoscopy experience
- Procedural sedation experience is required
- Progressive Care, Critical Care and/or ER experience
- Airway management
- EKG interpretation
- Moderate sedation
- Sedatives and reversal medication
- Phase II recoveries
- Flexible with unit needs
- Recent charge nurse experience
- Open to floating within cluster/similar department: highly desirable
